Design and Quality

The BP models come standard with a high-quality, fire- and scratch-resistant coating in RAL7037 Dusty Grey. This guarantees surface durability for decades. For special requirements, we also offer custom finishes (standard RAL) to meet any design preference.

With Wertheim’s consistently high manufacturing quality, the BP series stands out with good haptics when opening and closing the door, as well as when operating the locking mechanism.

Function & Features

The safes in the BP series come standard with a cable hole on both the left and right sides. This allows for powering devices like a hard drive inside the safe or transmitting a Wi-Fi signal to the outside. This means watch winders or data backup drives can be operated without compromising security. Additionally, all BP models come pre-fitted with a VdS-certified setup for connecting to a burglar alarm system.

The BP safes come standard with a double-bit lock and two keys. Optionally, you can upgrade your safe with an electronic lock or other lock models. From model BP15 onwards, it is possible to install an electronic lock with a mechanical emergency lock (Combi B90).

The door hinge is standard on the right but can be ordered with a left hinge at no extra cost. The external door hinge, a signature Wertheim feature, allows the door to open up to 180°, providing easy access to the full interior width of the safe for convenient loading.

Our BP safes are prepared for both floor and rear wall anchoring. The necessary, certified anchor bolts are included.
