High-Security with Certified Fire Protection
The Wertheim CP series is ideal if you require not only very high burglary protection but also increased protection from fire and extinguishing water. Certified fire protection is essential, especially when storing sensitive documents and valuables. In laboratory tests, the safe is exposed to intense fire, ensuring that the internal temperature does not exceed 170°C within the specified time frame. Since regular writing paper only ignites at around 360°C, your documents are well protected even in extreme heat.
Security & Certification
The safes in the CP series comply with the European standard EN1143-1 and are certified for resistance grade III. The CP safes with fire protection meet the LFS30 standards, providing 30 minutes of fire protection for paper documents. This means they offer solid burglary protection as well as reliable fire protection for paper documents.
To ensure full acceptance by all insurance companies, we rely exclusively on renowned testing institutes and certifications such as VdS, ECB-S, and VSÖ. This guarantees that no issues will arise with your insurance in the event of a claim due to unrecognized or insufficient certifications.
Design and Quality
The CP models come standard with a high-quality, fire- and scratch-resistant coating in RAL7037 Dusty Grey. This ensures surface durability for decades. For special requirements, we also offer custom finishes to meet any design preference.
With Wertheim’s consistently high manufacturing quality, the CP series stands out with good haptics when opening and closing the door, as well as when operating the locking mechanism.
Function & Features
The safes in the CP series come standard with a cable hole on both the left and right sides. This allows for powering devices like a hard drive inside the safe or transmitting a Wi-Fi signal to the outside. This means watch winders or data backup drives can be operated without compromising security. Additionally, all CP models come pre-fitted with a VdS-certified setup for connecting to a burglar alarm system.
The CP safes come standard with a double-bit lock and two keys. Optionally, you can upgrade your safe with an electronic lock or other lock models. In all models, it is possible to install an electronic lock with mechanical redundancy (Combi B90).
The door hinge is standard on the right but can be ordered with a left hinge at no extra cost. The external door hinge, a signature Wertheim feature, allows the door to open up to 180°, providing full access to the interior width of the safe for convenient loading.
Our CP safes are prepared for both floor and rear wall anchoring. The necessary, certified anchor bolts are included.
