The Desk Safe with Practical Swing-In Doors
The safes in Wertheim’s CWP series offer excellent security and feature swing-in doors that slide into the body of the safe when opened. This design prevents open doors from obstructing each other and ensures that the area in front of the safe remains fully accessible. Thanks to their optimal dimensions, these safes can easily be installed under a desk. These safes are ideal for jewelers, banks, pawnshops, and anywhere the safe remains open for longer periods without the doors getting in the way.
Security & Certification
The safes in the CWP series comply with the European standard EN1143-1 and are certified for resistance grade III. This means they can be insured for up to €200,000 for private use and up to €100,000 for commercial use (insurance values may vary—please check with your insurance provider). To ensure full acceptance by all insurance companies, we rely exclusively on renowned testing institutes and certifications such as VdS, ECB-S, and VSÖ. This guarantees that no issues will arise with your insurance in the event of a claim due to unrecognized or insufficient certifications.
Design and Quality
The CWP models come standard with a high-quality, scratch-resistant coating in RAL7037 Dusty Grey. This ensures surface durability for decades. For special requirements, we also offer custom finishes to meet any design preference.
With Wertheim’s consistently high manufacturing quality, the CWP series stands out with good haptics when opening and closing the door, as well as when operating the locking mechanism.
Function & Features
The CWP safes are equipped with a double-bit lock and two keys as standard. Optionally, you can equip your safe with an electronic lock or other lock models. The installation of an electronic lock with mechanical redundancy (Combi B90), as well as dual locks (two locks used simultaneously), is possible. All models in the CWP series are also pre-fitted with a VdS-certified setup for connection to a burglar alarm system.
