The security cabinets in Wertheim’s ZS series are available in three different sizes and are equipped as standard with a high-quality electronic lock (Wittkopp Primor). As an entry-level model, the ZS series is ideal for private use when valuables or important documents need to be securely stored—offering 30 minutes of fire protection.
In laboratory tests, ZS safes were exposed to intense fire conditions, during which the temperature inside the safe could not exceed 170°C within the specified time. Since regular paper ignites at approximately 360°C, your documents are well-protected even under extreme heat.
Security & Certification
The safes in the ZS series comply with the European standard EN 14450 and are certified for resistance grade S2. The ZS safes with fire protection meet the LFS30 standards, offering 30 minutes of fire protection for paper documents. To guarantee full acceptance by all insurance companies, we rely on the renowned testing institute ECB-S for ZS models.
