Hidden Wall Safes with Certified Resistance Grade I
The AMS wall safes from Wertheim can be seamlessly integrated into your building. Thanks to the recessed door hinge, the safe can be flush-mounted into the wall and then concealed, for example, behind a painting. After all, the best safe is the one that isn’t found during a burglary attempt.
Wall safes primarily offer burglary protection, but they also provide light fire resistance in accordance with DIN 4102. Depending on the model, they are suitable for securely storing binders, jewelry, or cash boxes.
Optionally, the back panel of the safe can also be reinforced to adjust the depth of the safe to match the thickness of the wall. This provides extra protection, especially if the wall behind the safe is thin, preventing access through the rear panel.
To meet the requirements of modern construction, wall safes are often designed with a shallow depth. The AMS0401, AMS0601, AMS0801, and AMS1001 models do not have full binder depth, but they do allow a binder to be stored parallel to the door.
Security & Certification
The safes in the AMS series comply with the European standard EN1143-1 and are certified for resistance grade I. To ensure full acceptance by all insurance companies, we rely exclusively on renowned testing institutes and certifications such as VdS, ECB-S, and VSÖ. This guarantees that no issues will arise with your insurance in the event of a claim due to unrecognized or insufficient certifications.
Design and Quality
The AMS models come standard with a high-quality, scratch-resistant coating in RAL7037 Dust Grey. This ensures surface durability for decades.
With Wertheim’s consistently high manufacturing quality, the AMS series stands out with good haptics when opening and closing the door, as well as when operating the locking mechanism.
Function & Features
The AMS safes are equipped with a double-bit lock and two keys as standard. Optionally, you can upgrade your safe with an electronic lock.
The door hinge is standard on the right but can be ordered with a left hinge at no extra cost for any model.
The installation of a wall safe should ideally be carried out by a professional such as a bricklayer. However, with some craftsmanship and proper guidance, the installation can also be done by yourself.
