Sustainable Security with Plenty of Interior Space
Thanks to innovative construction methods, we’ve developed a certified safe in resistance grade I without using filler materials. This reduces the CO₂ footprint, and the reduced weight makes both transportation and installation much easier. The new, sturdier aluminum handle not only improves the good haptics but also reduces the use of plastic parts.
The AN series is wider than the AL series, offering more interior space and the option to install additional lock variants or even two locks simultaneously. This provides extra flexibility and security, particularly for commercial use, where specific requirements need to be met.
Security & Certification
The safes in the AN series comply with the European standard EN1143-1 and are certified for resistance grade I. To ensure full acceptance by all insurance companies, we exclusively use certifications from renowned institutes such as VdS, ECB-S, VSÖ, and A2P. This ensures no issues with insurance will arise in the event of a claim due to unrecognized or inadequate certifications.
Design and Quality
In addition to the standard RAL7037 (Dusty Grey) color, the AN models can be delivered in almost any custom finish (standard RAL colors) to meet all design preferences.
With the new aluminum handle, our specially developed locking mechanism, and Wertheim’s consistently high manufacturing quality, the AN series impresses with good haptics when opening and closing the door, as well as when operating the locking system.
Features & Equipment
The safes in the AN series come standard with a cable hole on both the left and right sides. This allows for powering devices like a hard drive inside the safe or transmitting a Wi-Fi signal to the outside. This means watch winders or data backup drives can be operated without compromising security. Additionally, all AN models come pre-fitted with a VdS-certified setup for connecting to a burglar alarm system.
The AN safes are equipped with a double-bit lock and two keys as standard. You also have the option to upgrade your safe with an electronic lock or other lock models. All models have the possibility of installing an electronic lock with mechanical redundancy (Combi B90), as well as dual locks (two locks used simultaneously).
The door hinge is standard on the right but can be ordered with a left hinge at no extra cost. The external door hinge, a Wertheim signature feature, allows the door to open up to 180°, making it easy to use the full width of the safe’s interior for storage.
Our AN safes are designed for both floor and rear wall anchoring. The necessary, certified anchor bolts are, of course, included.
