Our specialist retail partners or specialised forwarding agents will be happy to deliver your safe directly to the place of use and anchor it professionally with a heavy-duty anchor if required. You will then receive a certified confirmation that the safe has been installed in accordance with insurance requirements. In the event of an insurance claim, this certificate can make a decisive contribution to obtaining the full sum insured.
Important instructions for transport and installation at the place of use
✔ Ensure that the transport route (e.g. old wooden stairs) has the necessary static load-bearing capacity.
✔ Check the static load-bearing capacity of the installation site, especially for safes weighing 250 – 300 kg or more.
✔ No cables may be present in the anchoring area (the client is responsible for this)
✔ Make sure that the safe, including packaging material (such as pallets), fits easily through the transport route (e.g. doorway width).
✔ If it is not possible to install the safe for unforeseeable reasons (such as doors that are too narrow), the customer must bear the costs of the unsuccessful attempt.
✔ The safe must always be flush with the anchoring surface. Remove any existing box bases, box back panels, skirting boards etc. before delivery.
✔ If the safe is to be connected to an alarm system or other cables are to be routed into the safe, prepare them in the right place before anchoring.
